The prefecture Attici is in central Greece and more specifically occupies the south-eastern department of Sterea Hellas. It has extent 3.808 klm2 and covers the 2,9% of total extent of country. It has capital Athens, the administrative capital of Greece.
The history of Attica and Athens is lost in depths of Greek mythology, from the acquisition of name of Athens from the goddes Athina, the growth of letters and arts in the classic antiquity and important monuments as the Acropoli gave the lights of culture in all of the world and rights is characterized as the cradle of culture.

Boeotia is prefecture of Sterea Hellas, with extent 3,211 Km2. Capital is Libadia.Prefecture borders north on the prefecture Fthiotida, westwards on the prefecture Fokida, southernly is wetted by the Corinthian gulf and borders on the prefecture Attica and Easternly is wetted from Eubean gulf.
The prefecture is scattered with archaeological spaces as Plataies ,Chaironeia, Tanagra,Orchomenos and Thebes.

Phthiotis

The prefecture Phthiotis is onefrom the fiftyone prefectures of Greece and belongs administratively in the region of Sterea Hellas. It easternly borders on the prefectures Euboea via the Eubean gulf in, Viotia and Fokida in southernly, Aetoliakarnania in southly-western, Evrytania and Karditsa in westwards, Larissa in north and Magnesia in eastern. Capital of prefecture is the city of Lamia. Big part of extent is mountainous in the southern part with certain regions of low altitude, even if the plains are found in the central and in notherners in the valleys of Kifisos and Spercheios.

Evrytania

The prefecture Evrytania is one from the fiftyone prefectures of Greece and belongs in the region of StereaHellas. The prefecture borders on the prefecture Aetolio-Akarnania in the western, south-western and southerners (westwards above Acheloos river), on the prefecture Karditsa in northern, and on the prefecture Fthiotida in Eastern.
The lush mountains, running waters, remote villages, drenched in forests of fir, beech, pine and poplar trees. Most of the perfecture remain unudulterated. The physical landscape of Evrytania is unique. It offers the feasibility for mount-climbing, skiing, hiking which crosses the nome and offers great joy to hikers who indeed enjoy the uniqueness of nature.

Aetolia-Acarnania

It is located in the western part of Greece. The prefecture is a combination of the regions Aetolia and Acarnania. Its capital for historical reasons is Mesolongi and its biggest city and economical centre is Agrinion. The area is now connected with the Peloponnese peninsula with Rio-Antirio Bridge.
Mountains dominate the north, northeast, west and southeast especially the Acarnanian Mountains. The longest and main river is the Acheloos which ends as a delta in a wetlands in the southwest.

Euboea

The prefecture north is fixed by the channels of Trikeri and Oreon that separate him from the peninsula of prefecture Magnesia and prefecture Fthiotida. North-westernly it is rained by the gulves Maliako, Eubean (Notherner and Southerner) and Petalion, that separates him from Lokrida, Eastern Boeotia and Attica.
