Larissa

The prefecture Larissa is one from the 51 prefectures of Greece and belongs geographically but also administratively in the region of Thessaly. Concretely he is one from the four prefectures of Thessaly and is the second in extent prefecture of country. It has population 279.305 residents (inventory 2001). Capital of prefecture is the homonym city of Larissa with population 124.394 residents.
